Terms of Use
Plain terms for a festival that programs films rather than hosting them.

What Infinite Film Fest is
Infinite Film Fest is a curated, always-screening festival for independent short film, and a Workshop project. We do not host, store, re-encode or re-upload video. Every film plays through the filmmaker’s own YouTube or Vimeo page inside that provider’s player. Playback is also governed by that provider’s terms.
Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Your account
Watching is free and does not require an account. An account is needed to vote, save films, submit work, or hold a Plus membership. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and you must give an accurate email address so we can verify it.
One person, one account. Accounts created to inflate votes, evade a removal, or impersonate a filmmaker will be closed.
Filmmakers keep their work
You keep every right in your film. Submitting it grants Infinite Film Fest a non-exclusive, revocable permission to link to it, embed the provider’s player, and display the title, credits, synopsis, thumbnail and other information the provider publicly returns, for as long as the film is in the program.
Withdrawing is immediate and unconditional: make the film private at the provider, or ask us through the report form, and we remove it from the queue.
What you agree not to do
- Submit a film you do not have the rights to present.
- Manipulate votes, awards or analytics through multiple accounts, automation or coordination.
- Scrape, mirror or rebuild the catalog as a competing index.
- Attempt to bypass the provider's player, download films, or strip attribution.
- Harass filmmakers, viewers or programmers.
Curation is editorial
Selection, rejection, ordering and removal are editorial decisions. We are not obliged to accept any submission, to explain a rejection in detail, or to keep a film in the program. Films are removed when a provider link breaks, when rights are disputed, or when a film no longer fits the program.
Plus membership
Plus is a paid, recurring membership that unlocks your full viewing history, search and export, and creator insights. It never buys entry, votes, awards or favourable placement. Membership renews until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period already paid for. Prices are shown before you pay and taxes may be added at checkout.
The Artist Fund
Sixty percent of membership revenue is committed to the Artist Fund at the moment a payment is received, and the running total is published on the Artist Fund page. Awards are governed by the official award rules. No purchase is necessary to enter, vote or win.
No warranty, and limits on liability
The site is provided as is. Because films play from third-party providers, we cannot guarantee that any given film will be available, and availability may change without notice. To the fullest extent the law allows, Infinite Film Fest is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted by the date above. Reach us through the report form for anything covered here.
